I wonder why they would be discriminating against it. Hmmm.
It might be due to the fact they they created the currency to help with their failing economy after already knocking five 0’s off of their hyper inflating currency. It might be due to the fact that pensioners are now having to learn a system of transfer their Petro into sovereign Bolivars because they are being paid out in crypto currency. It might be due to the fact that they tied the Petro to the varying prices of the countries oil and natural gas supplies. It might be due to the fact that they didn’t even make the code for their crypto currency to be open sourced. No one knows what is hidden inside the Petro crypto currency.
It also might have something to do with the 50+ countries that announced that they believe marudo won the election illegitimately. It might have something to do with the opposition standing up and basically assuming the presidency.
The whole country is in shambles. There are indicators of a civil war starting. The people can’t afford basic food and health care. They have a failing economy and a failing dollar. Making it visible on the block chain won’t fix any of the issues that are going on in that country.
